In my latest podcast, I return to Rosepulse Rewind for a candid reflection on the creative process behind writing and developing the series over the course of several weeks. I explore how the project initially grew from conversations surrounding social media addiction, digital dependency, and the increasingly complex influence of media on contemporary life. These ideas eventually became central themes within the accompanying editorial, which examines the ways media culture can shape a young woman’s identity, emotional well-being, and perception of herself.

The episode also considers the different ways women may attempt to cope with these pressures, including various forms of self-medication and escapism. Through personal reflection, cultural commentary, and the evolution of my own creative process, this installment of Rosepulse Rewind looks beyond the surface of digital culture to consider how the media we consume can become intertwined with the ways we cope, create, and understand ourselves.
